The East Vancouver neighbourhood has a lot to offer when it comes to real estate. Although many people would say a lot of Chinese people live in this area, while true - I've also seen many different people from all kinds of backgrounds moving in the area. This is fantastic and really diversifies our community. Also, having a more affordable housing price than the Westside helps young families and couples make a choice in moving into East Vancouver.
If you are looking for a heritage neighbourhood with an older craftsman style home, Commercial Drive boasts many of these fantastic and unique properties. This area is also called Grandview - Woodlands, Strathcona and Mount Pleasant. A culturally diverse neighbourhood, with many young families, artists and musicians residing in this location. Commercial Drive has much to offer with the many cafes, shops and restaurants along Commercial Drive.
