Vancouver Housing Market Stats for 2011

The Vancouver housing market holds strong and favours home sellers in May 2011.  Vancouver homes sales were typical springtime levels on MLS in May.

The marketplace is seeing much more activity on the higher end properties this year than a year ago.  This results in causing today's average prices to be less reflective of the total activity occuring in the marketplace.  The HPI benchmark prices seem to be more accurate and are reliable indicators of housing prices vs. averages.
